Un lancement officiel coloré !

La Région des Pays de la Loire a accueilli la Women’s Cup, pour la 3ème fois sur son stand au Nautic de Paris. L’ambiance était chaleureuse et enthousiaste à l’annonce de la 4^ème édition de cette régate 100% féminine et solidaire.

Ce moment privilégié permet aux différents acteurs de ce projet original de se rencontrer. Institutionnels, partenaires et concurrentes échangent leurs impressions et construisent la vision de ce projet qui leur tient à cœur.

Courir sous le rose de l’ONG Plan fédère et mobilise les meilleures régatières françaises et de nombreuses amatrices de différentes nationalités. Des concurrentes étaient présentes pour confirmer leur participation les 8 & 9 mars sur le port de Pornichet. Le projet belge a annoncé la probabilité d’avoir 2 équipages inscrits pour leur 4^ème participation, vu le succès rencontré dans leur pays. Alexia Barrier a partagé son envie de monter un équipage « méridional » dont nous aurons l’occasion de reparler.

Côté partenaires, Marinepool, Nautistore et 727 Sailbags renouvellent leur soutien qui fait le succès de cette régate. Grâce à eux, une tombola, entre autres, est organisée lors de la soirée des équipages au profit de l’ONG Plan. Sodebo de son côté, confirme sponsoriser à nouveau une équipe.

Plan, qui comme chaque année, sera mise en avant durant tout le week-end de la régate, grâce à la présence d’un stand où, public et concurrentes, peuvent trouver des informations sur ses actions sur les problématiques d’accès à la santé et à l‘éducation des filles dans le monde.

Un avant rendez-vous est programmé cette année avec un entraînement dédié aux équipages féminins en janvier à Pornichet. L’occasion de confirmer le succès pressenti de cette 4^ème édition !

A colored official launch!

The Region « Pays de la Loire » welcomed the Women’s Cup, for the 3^rd time on its stand during December 2013 Paris Boat Show. The atmosphere was warm and enthusiastic when the 4^th edition of this 100% feminine and solidary regatta was announced.

This privileged moment allows the various actors of this original project to meet. Personalities from institutions, partners and competitors exchange their feelings and build the outlook of this project, which means a lot to them.

To race under the pink of the NGO Plan federates and mobilizes the best French teams and many non-professionals of various nationalities. Competitors were present to confirm their participation on March 8^th and 9^th on the port of Pornichet. The Belgian project announced the probability to have 2 crews registered for their 4^th participation, seen the success met in their country. Alexia Barrier shared her desire to gather a « Southern » crew, of which we shall have the opportunity to speak again.

Concerning partners, Marinepool, Nautistore and 727 Sailbags renew their support, which allows the success of this regatta. Thanks to them, a raffle, among other events, is organized during the crew evening for the benefit of the NGO Plan. And Sodebo confirms its support for a crew.

Plan, as every year, will be put forward during all the weekend of the regatta, thanks to the organisation of a stand where the public and competitors will find information on their actions in the fields of access to health and to girls education in the world.

This year, a first meeting is scheduled in January with a training dedicated to feminine crews in Pornichet. The opportunity to anticipate the success of this 4^th edition!
